The latest government mention we found, on 2 September 2026, gave it no status. For now you go up by road, 11 to 16 km from Jyotirmath.

Fixed in December 2024 for a New Year traffic plan (Amar Ujala, Chamoli). We read it as per vehicle for up to five people; one report says per passenger.
